Columbus Police say a man was rushed to the hospital after a stabbing around 9pm Thursday near Ninth and Chestnut. A suspect has been arrested.

With the holidays just around the corner, many Americans are looking at ways to stretch their dollars.

The Bartholomew County Long-Term Flood Recovery Team has received a grant of $1,655,000 from the 2008 Indiana Natural Disaster Fund. Bartholomew was one of the 19 counties with funded projects. The total of the grants in this round of funding is $14.8 million.

A boil water advisory has been issued by the Southwestern Bartholomew Water Corporation.

Detectives hope that someone will identify the suspect and call Indiana State Police or the Brown County Sheriff's Office.
