Confusion Over New Toters

Some confusion over the new trash toters. Public Safety Director Jim Norris said this is the first week for trash pick up in the area new to the toter system. He said many residents are placing their toter on the alley, instead of the curb in front of the house. Norris said there will be no more alley pick ups and reminds residents to read all of the instructions that come taped to their new toters.

Norris says special pickups have also changed. He said extra trash will no longer be picked up on demand, it will only be collected during the first full week of the month.
