Seventh Suspect in Custody for Brown County Church Fire

A seventh arrest has been made in connection with a church arson in Brown County. The Indiana State Fire Marshal's Office took 19-year-old Skylar Ping into custody late last week. In addition to Ping, five 18-year-olds and one juvenile have already been arrested.

Authorities are crediting tips received by the Indiana Arson Hotline and the Crimestoppers of Indiana Hotline for leading to the arrests to date.

A reward of up to one-thousand dollars is still being offered through the Crime Stoppers Hotline, with another reward of up to five-thousand dollars through the Indiana Arson Hotline for tips which lead to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
