Indiana Mother Arrested in Alabama for her Child's Death

An Indianapolis mother is under arrest in Alabama for the death of her baby. 23-year old Whitney Wilson is charged with killing her 2 month old daughter. Wilson took the baby to her parents’ home in Bessemer, Alabama on Sunday.

Just hours later, the baby was taken to a hospital with a fractured skull, leg and ribs. Doctors say the injuries were not from an accident. Wilson denies the charges. Her two other children are in protective custody.
