Wintry Weather Affects Area Roads

The wintry mix we experienced Thursday night into Friday morning had varying affects on area roadways.

Bartholomew County Dispatch tells us county roads are slick this morning. Main roads seem to be fine, just slushy.

Brown County reports State Road 46 and 135 are slushy, but it's starting to melt. No word on how the county roads are this morning.

Roads in Decatur County are slick and no travel advisories have been issued.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office says roads are clear there.

Jennings County Dispatch says a few slick spots have been reported there, but overall the roads are in good shape. Just use caution if you have to be out this morning.

The Johnson County Sheriff's Office says roads are icy there, but main roads are not bad. A few slide offs were reported on I-65 and State Road 37.

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office says roads are not bad, but there are a few slick spots.
