Wright Wins Another Term As Vernon Mayor

Incumbent Daniel W. Wright won another term as Mayor of Vernon.

Residents of the small Jennings County town went to the polls on Monday. Wright ran against Rachael Shaw. Both ran as citizen candidates.

Initial reports from the Jennings County Elections Office indicate that Wright won by a 2-to-1 margin.
