Three Columbus Residents Arrested In Tuesday Night Drug Bust

Columbus Police continue their efforts at getting illegal drugs off of city streets.

Columbus Public Safety Spokesman Matt Myers explains that three people were arrested after a Tuesday night bust at 5220 Regency Drive. Arrested were 41-year-old Calvin Watkins, 27-year-old Shauna Scheivle and 33-year-old Christy Flynn, all of Columbus.

Watkins is facing preliminary charges of dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia. Scheivle is facing preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance. Flynn was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and visiting a common nuisance.

Myers says Tuesday night's arrests were the result of an eight-month investigation. He says the Columbus Police Department will continue their efforts at getting drug dealers off of city streets.
