Snowplow Hits Hope Woman

A Hope woman was hit by a snowplow Wednesday morning.

Clyde Compton told our news gathering partners at "The Republic" that around 8:30 a.m., his wife, 58-year-old Jenny Compton, was walking across the parking lot in front of Snappy Tomato Pizza on State Road 9 when she was struck. He said his wife was taking empty boxes to a trash bin when the snowplow backed up and accidentally struck her.
