A North Vernon woman was arrested for drunk driving and other drug charges after police got a call about a possible extremely intoxicated driver on West U.S. 50 early Monday morning.

North Vernon Police say a caller told Jennings County Dispatch that the vehicle 47-year-old Sandra L. Moore was driving hit a bridge on West U.S. 50 in the construction area close to Seymour. The caller said Moore's vehicle was all over the road.

A second caller called in stating that same vehicle went off the road on multiple occasions.

Officers found Moore's vehicle and saw it go off the roadway again. When police stopped her, Moore was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated with endangerment, possession of paraphernalia, six counts of possession of syringe and possession of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school.
