Governor Mike Pence will be back in his hometown of Columbus on Wednesday for a bridge dedication.

Pence will join state and local officials at a ceremony dedicating the cable-stayed bridge entering downtown in honor of former Mayor Robert Stewart. Stewart served three terms as mayor of Columbus from 1984 to 1996.

The ceremony will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, near the bridge in the parking lot of the city's pump house and the former Senior Citizens Center. In case of rain, the ceremony will be held at City Hall.
