A police chase involving a motorcycle ended with the suspect getting away.

Columbus Public Safety spokesman Lt. Matt Myers says the incident began at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday when Officer Troy Love witnessed a motorcycle speeding through the area of Rocky Ford and Marr Roads. When the officer attempted to pull the motorcycle over, the driver sped up, ultimately getting away after entering the Candlelight Village mobile home park.

The motorcycle was found later in the 2800 block of Lamplight Drive, located inside of the trailer park. It was impounded by police.

No arrests were made, but Myers says that investigators believe they have identified the driver. They are continuing their investigation and search for the suspect.
