White River Broadcasting Makes Leadership Announcement

White River Broadcasting has made four appointments to the leadership of its family of Columbus-based radio stations.

John Foster has taken on added duties as Station Manager for all four of the company's station brands. A 45-year broadcast veteran, Foster joined White River Broadcasting, as Director of Programming, in 1994. A United States Air Force veteran, he has emceed various veteran-related events in Columbus. Foster is a member of the Meridian Kiwanis Club, Healthy Communities Council, Domestic Violence Action Team, and the Pregnancy Care Center Advocacy Team, among other endeavors.

Bob Morrison has been named Sales Manager for WRB. Morrison joined the company as a marketing consultant in the fall of 1993. The Ball State University alum serves on the Parent Advisory Board for his alma matter. Morrison is a member of the Decatur and Ripley County Chambers of Commerce, on the Leadership Team of Hometown Networking. He is also a past President, and current Treasurer, of the Columbus Area Railroad Club, as well as an active member of a number of other area groups.

Christine Nelson has been appointed WRB Business Manager. With more than 20 years of financial experience, Nelson began her career with White River Broadcasting in 2008. She is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University. Nelson also serves as a member of the Seymour Noon Lions Club and is active in many community events. She is also a member of the Indiana Broadcasters Association's Spectrum Committee.

Mike Sullivan has been named Manager of Creative Services for White River Broadcasting. A 25-year broadcast veteran, Sullivan joined White River in 1997. He is a 1985 graduate of Indiana University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts and Sciences Degree from the IU School of Telecommunications. Sullivan has been recognized as a six-time Spectrum Award winner through the Indiana Broadcasters Association.

White River Broadcasting ownership and staff congratulate John, Bob, Christine and Mike, and thank them for the hard work and dedication they have shown thus far. The company looks forward to an even brighter future with its new leadership team.
