Reports of Alleged Drug Activity Lead to Arrests

Two people were arrested late Tuesday night after Indiana State Police in Sellersburg received anonymous reports of alleged drug activity going on at a home located at 525 North St. in Austin.

Officials say 34-year-old Jennifer L. Fox, who lived at the home, and a visitor, 32-year-old Jeremy W. Rice of Austin, were arrested and taken to the Scott County Jail. Fox is charged with maintaining a common nuisance and possession of a hypodermic needle. Rice is charged with visiting a common nuisance and possession of a hypodermic needle.

Police searched the home and found multiple hypodermic needles and other drug paraphernalia.
