One person was transported by Lifeline air ambulance Wednesday morning after a two-vehicle crash in Johnson County.

Indiana State Police (ISP) Troopers responded to a two vehicle personal injury crash on State Road 252 at I-65 that sent one of the drivers to the hospital. The crash occurred just before 7:30 a.m.

Preliminary results of an ISP investigation revealed that 30-year-old Alicia Littlejohn, of Franklin, was driving a vehicle on State Road 252, turning onto the northbound ramp to I-65. Investigators say that 30-year-old John Bense,of Hope, was driving a dump truck westbound on State Road 252 when Littlejohn turned into the path of the dump truck. Her vehicle was struck in the passenger side door.

Littlejohn was transported to Methodist Hospital with possible internal injuries. She was reported to be alert and talking at the scene. Bense was not injured.
