Columbus man arrested after crash with ex-girlfriend

A Columbus man was arrested on a felony criminal recklessness charge after allegedly crashing into his ex-girlfriend's car over the weekend.

Sgt. Matt Harris, spokesman for the Columbus Police Department says that officers were called to a vehicle crash in the 3900 block of Willamsburg Way at about 10 p.m. Saturday night. A woman told police that she had an argument with her former boyfriend and when she tried to leave, her ex first drove toward her, then swerved and crashed into her vehicle before leaving the scene.

24-year-old Brian F. Harris was arrested on a  preliminary charge of criminal recklessness with ad deadly weapon, a level 6 felony, and leaving the scene of an accident, a Class A misdemeanor.
